Workshops, conventions, competitions, and community, Dance Teachers United elevates dance professionals all throughout the south, as the kids who work with them benefit from the shared knowledge and collective passion they’re surrounded by.
Molleigh Wallace is from Vicksburg, MS where she trained at her mother’s studio and was a member of Twin City Ballet Company in Louisiana. She competed at numerous dance competitions and was a NYC finalist at YAGP as well as a member of Starpower’s “Power Pak” for eight years. Molleigh started performing professionally at 19 with Royal Caribbean, was a part of numerous shows in Las Vegas and worked with many entertainers including Muhammad Ali, CeeLo Green, David Guetta, Diplo, Skrillex, Lil John, and most recently Marc Anthony.
Molleigh currently calls Orlando home, where she has performed as an Equity Dancer at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios in the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue, as a Beauxbaton at Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter, at the Latin Billboard Awards in Miami and spent three seasons as an NBA Dancer for the Orlando Magic!!
Cindy Folger began her dance training at age 4, and has studied with many dance professionals. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Columbia, College (Columbia, S.C.), and her Master of Fine Arts degree from Florida State University (Tallahassee, FL). She has taught for several dance conventions including NADAA, DanceMakers, Dance Masters and Dance Teachers United. Cindy is an award winning choreographer, and was most recently recognized by the Shuler Awards for outstanding choreography in Musical Theatre. Cindy is currently on the dance faculty at Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Augusta, GA. and also teaches for Augusta West Dance Studio. She is a wife and mother to three children, and loves being a part of the DTU family!
Barry Kerollis is an award-winning choreographer, dance educator, and influencer based in New York City. He is Artistic Director of Movement Headquarters Ballet Company, teaches on faculty at Broadway Dance Center, writes for Dance Media publications, and hosts the Pas de Chát: Talking Dance podcast on the Premier Dance Network. Choreographic commissions include Columbia Ballet Collaborative, Seattle’s Men in Dance festival, CelloPointe, Uptown Dance Company, and a contemporary ballet solo for Youth America Grand Prix winner Elisabeth Beyer. Additional works have been performed by Pacific Northwest Ballet, Alaska Dance Theatre, and at the Philly Fringe Festival and Steps on Broadway. Barry was also selected for the National Choreographers Initiative, was a finalist at the McCallum Theatre Choreography Festival, and has won an Outstanding Choreographer award and coached numerous students into the final round at YAGP.
